Marian Anderson Music Center Renovation

I know that we have all seen that building across from Truth Hall that is being renovated. That is Marian Anderson Music Center. It is the place where the Cheyney University Soulful Sound Marching Band practiced before they were moved to DSS and then Ada Georges Ballroom.

This building was torn half-way down in October and is said to be completed in 275 days. The construction consists of a water main repair and waterproofing of the electrical vault due to water infiltration on the Cope Hall side of the Building. This renovation will cost 3.2 million dollars.

Now according to the Cheyney website, this renovation should be completed in March of 2010.Some would say, " the University is know for making empty promises and being very unorganized", case in point the atm situation.The ATM was moved in October and has just been set up and running toward the end of november. And many students still have yet to recieve refund checks. Lets us not even begin to talk about registration at he begining of school. So what makes it possible for this project to be completed in March when construction has just begun?IDK ... maybe they'll surpise us this time but what do you think?
